About these terms

These terms cover use of this website and the general basis on which Arbor Care Tree Service provides estimates and performs work. The written estimate or work order you sign for a specific job governs that job, and where it differs from anything here, the work order controls.

Estimates

Estimates are free and carry no obligation. An estimate is based on the condition of the tree and the site at the time of inspection. If conditions change materially before the work, for example after a storm, or if hidden decay or an obstruction is discovered once work begins, we will stop and discuss any change in scope or price with you before continuing.

Scheduling

Tree work is weather dependent. Lightning, high wind and saturated ground are all reasons we may reschedule, and we will contact you rather than simply not arriving. Emergency work takes priority over scheduled work, which may occasionally move a non urgent job.

Access and property

You confirm that you own the property or are authorised to have the work performed, and that you have obtained any permit required by your jurisdiction. Please let us know before work begins about irrigation lines, invisible fencing, low voltage wiring, septic systems, wells and any other buried feature in the work area. We take reasonable steps to protect lawns, drives and landscaping, but some marking of the ground in the work area is normal and unavoidable.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless other terms are set out in writing on the work order. We accept major debit and credit cards, PayPal, Venmo and Apple Pay.

Insurance

Arbor Care Tree Service carries general liability and workers compensation insurance. Certificates are available on request before work begins.
