Who we are

Who we are

We are a locally owned tree service based in Gainesville, Florida. We do removals, trimming, pruning, stump grinding, storm cleanup and emergency work for homeowners, businesses, farms and commercial property all over North Central Florida.

The work is simple to describe. Trees come down, trees get trimmed, stumps get ground out. What separates one tree company from the next is knowing which of those your tree actually needs, and caring about everything standing underneath it while the work is happening.

That is the whole business. It is also why we have a certified arborist on staff instead of just a crew with saws.

How we approach a property

We will tell you if your tree does not need to come down

Every property is different and every tree deserves a real look. We are not going to recommend work just to sell work. We check the condition of the tree, listen to what you are trying to do, and tell you what makes sense. If your tree can be kept safely with some trimming, that is what we will say.

01

We look at it properly first

A certified arborist walks your property and checks the tree, the lean, the base of the trunk, what is underneath it and how we can reach it. Everything else comes from that.

02

We tell you the truth

Sometimes the tree is fine. Sometimes taking the deadwood out fixes the problem for a fraction of what a removal costs. We would rather tell you that and keep you as a customer for years.

03

We work safely and quickly

We lower wood on a rope anywhere there is something underneath, and we bring the equipment the job needs instead of whatever happens to be on the truck.

04

We protect what stays

Your lawn, your flower beds, your driveway, your fence and your neighbor's property. Mats and plywood go down before a saw ever starts.

05

We clean up completely

Wood, limbs and chips go the same day unless you asked us to leave them. A finished job should look finished.

06

You always know what is happening

From the written estimate to the walkthrough at the end, you should never be guessing about what we are doing or what it costs.

Credentials that mean something

Four things to check before you hire anyone

Anybody can buy a chainsaw and print a business card, and when tree work goes wrong it goes very wrong. Ask these four questions of every company you call, including us.

Certified arborist on staff

Someone who actually studied trees looks at yours before a saw comes out. You get a real opinion, not a sales pitch.

Fully insured

General liability and workers comp. Ask and we email you the certificate before we start work.

We follow the standards

ANSI Z133 for safety and A300 for pruning, on every single job. Plenty of crews do not.

We answer 24 hours a day

Storms do not wait for business hours. Call or text any time, day or night, any day of the year.

What those standards actually mean

ANSI Z133 is the national safety standard for tree work. It covers how a crew works around power lines, how climbers tie in, how much load rigging can take, and how the area under the tree gets controlled. It is what keeps a tree job from turning into an ambulance ride.

ANSI A300 is the standard for the trimming itself. Where the cut goes, how much of a tree you can safely take at once, and what counts as a proper reduction instead of topping. It is the difference between a trim your tree recovers from and one it never recovers from.

ISA Certified Arborist is a credential you earn by passing an exam and keep by taking continuing education. It means somebody on your job actually understands how trees work, not just how to run a saw.

None of this is fancy. It is the basic standard the industry agreed on years ago. Plenty of outfits with a truck and a chainsaw still do not meet it.

What we value

What we stand for

Safety

People, property and our own crew come before speed on every job. There is no piece of wood worth somebody getting hurt over.

Honesty

Straight assessments, clear pricing, and doing what we said we would do on the day we said we would do it.

Respect

For your property, your time and your neighbors. We are working at the place you live.

Quality

Right cuts, right rigging, right cleanup. We do not rush your job to get to the next one.

Looking after the trees

Trees are what make this part of Florida worth living in. If one can be kept safely, keeping it is the better answer for everybody.
